Should I attempt to remove a major stain at home?
Home remedies are risky and can damage the fabric. Unless you’re 100% sure the method with work, bring the item in to Bregg Cleaners, Tailors, & Furriers Ent. Ltd—we’ll be able to find the best way to clean it without causing further damage.
What is the average turnaround time for alterations?
Depending on the extent of the alteration, we usually get them completed in 1 to 3 business days.
Will dry cleaning methods shorten the life of a garment?
No–in fact, washing them in water is more risky because the threads swell while agitating in the washer. Dry cleaning avoids this altogether, so it actually prolongs the life of your garment.
What is involved in custom tailoring?
To make each garment unique to you, we take up to 30 careful measurements and choose from an endless variety of fabrics to alter or create a garment that flatters your figure and fits your lifestyle.
Why should I store my furs with Bregg Cleaners, Tailors, & Furriers rather than at home?
Home environments often have a level of humidity that can dry out the pelts. We have a controlled environment set up especially for fur storage.
What does your store do to care for furs?
At least every two years, we condition, clean, and glaze your fur to prevent it from drying out.
